We want to help you to grow as a practitioner and significantly improve your exercise physiology skills (with regular mentoring, staff training and funding for additional training courses.) This will ensure that you can continue to successfully treat a multitude of conditions and a varied patient caseload.
The successful applicant will have a desire to work within private practice and have a strong passion to upskill and further advance their skillset in their desired treatment areas.

Ideally, you will have practical experience in a musculo-skeletal setting and through your clinical practice, you would have acquired the following skills:
Detailed understanding of exercise prescription and programming.
Excellent communication and rapport building skills.
A passion for learning.
Undertake and deliver assessments, interventions and exercise programs in individual or group settings in a variety of locations depending on the clients’ needs, such as at the gym or within the safety of the patients home.
Use clinical reasoning and understand outcome measures and client objectives to formulate goal-focused treatment plans.
Understand individual client needs, and effectively translate scientific and clinical information in a way that meets these needs, including communicating in plain English with clients and their families/ care managers.
Provide health education, advice and support to enhance client health and wellbeing.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Liaise with other medical professionals involved in the client's rehabilitation.
Conduct assessments, develop management plans and treatment programs.
Develop written reports as required for clients under Medicare, DVA, NDIS, WorkCover or any other insurance scheme or funding program.
